Well-being and work-life balance is not something that is usually considered a priority. But when Dr.Reem built her practice, she sought to create a balance between creating a practice of care for her patients and a practice that took her and her staff's wellbeing into consideration. A holistic approach that allowed her to be an effective practitioner and an accomplished academic while being a parent to three children. In this episode, we're going to talk to her about her journey to where she is today, her philosophy on patient centricity and the impact it has had on how she's cultivated her personal practice.

For Dr Suliman, details matter. A self-confessed perfectionist, he is always exploring the degree of precision that can be brought to the practice of dental care; From the rigors of his personal practice to his contributions to academic research where he’s conducted dental work on the smallest set of teeth possible - the rat.
But despite his passion, he advocates for the importance of patient management as core to a successful practice. According to him, you could be the most skilled practitioner but if the patient's experience is not up to mark, it can be perceived as failure.
In this episode, we will talk to him about his practice, both as an academic and as a practitioner, the challenges that come with balancing professional ambition with a personal life, and his philosophy of care when it comes to his patients.
Co-Founder at Aline Dental Center, in Jahra, Kuwait, and certified Invisalign Speaker in the Middle East.
Meet Dr. Mubarak, an orthodontist based in Al Jahrah, Kuwait, who took the road less traveled. Al Jahrah was not the place where dental careers were built in Kuwait. It was located in the northern most area of the country with a high older population. If you wanted to grow, this was not where you practiced.
But this is where his story was to be built. He would go on to not only pave the way for access to quality dental care but be one of the pioneers of remote dentistry in the region with almost half of his patients outside his modest city.

Dr. Akshay's journey began in a clinic that started way back in 1948. A multi-generational clinic in Bangalore that has treated patients over several generations. As a young patient, it had not only sparked an interest in dentistry but was a formative experience upon graduation that led to a journey through several cities - from Mumbai, where he tried his hand at starting his own clinic to Doha, Qatar, where he found a home as a digital practitioner.
We follow his journey, from the analog era of his uncle to his adventures in digital dentistry and speak to him about his experiences and how they shaped his philosophy on patient centricity, the impact of going digital and what he regards as central to his practice.
